Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM) of
food involves the laboratory process of artificially inserting
genes into the DNA of food crops or animals. The result is
called a genetically modified organism or GMO. GMOs can be
engineered with genes from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals,
or even humans. Most Americans say they would not eat GMOs
if labeled, but unlike most other industrialized countries, the
U.S. does not require labeling.

This Non-GMO Shopping Guide is designed to help reclaim
your right to know about the foods you are buying, and help
you find and avoid GMO foods and ingredients.

Tips for avoiding GM crops

TIP #1: BUY ORGANIC
Certified organic products are not allowed to contain any
GMOs. Therefore, when you purchase products labeled “100%
organic,” “organic,” or “made with organic ingredients,” all
ingredients in these products are not allowed to be produced
from GMOs. For example, products labeled as “made with
organic ingredients” only require 70% of the ingredients to
be organic, but 100% must be non-GMO.

TIP #2: LOOK FOR“NON-GMO” LABELS
Companies may voluntarily label products as “non-GMO.”
Some labels state “non-GMO” while others spell out “Made
Without Genetically Modified Ingredients.” Some products
limit their claim to only one particular “At-Risk” ingredient
such as soy lecithin, listing it as “non-GMO.”

TIP #3: AVOID AT-RISK INGREDIENTS
Avoid products made with any of the crops that are GM. Most
GM ingredients are products made from the “Big Four:” corn,
soybeans, canola, and cottonseed, used in processed foods.
Some of the most common genetically engineered Big Four
ingredients in processed foods are:

Corn
■ Corn flour, meal, oil, starch, gluten, and syrup
■ Sweeteners such as fructose, dextrose, and glucose
■ Modified food starch*

Soy
■ Soy flour, lecithin, protein, isolate, and isoflavone
■ Vegetable oil* and vegetable protein*

Canola Canola oil (also called rapeseed oil)
Cotton Cottonseed oil
*May be derived from other sources

Additionally, GM beet sugar recently entered the food
supply. Look for organic and non-GMO sweeteners, candy and
chocolate products made with 100% cane sugar, evaporated
cane juice, agave, or organic sugar, to avoid GM beet sugar.

BUY PRODUCTS LISTED in The True Food Shopping Guide ( read below for details)

Today, thousands of products on supermarket shelves are made with ingredients from genetically modified (also known as genetically engineered [GE]) crops. But GM foods are not labeled in the U.S., despite warnings from doctors and scientists that these foods may not be safe in the diet or the environment. This lack of mandatory labeling can make it difficult to determine which products are made with GM ingredients and which are not. The True Food Shoppers Guide is designed to give you the tools you need to make informed purchasing decisions.
The True Food Shoppers Guide also arms you with valuable information regarding common GM ingredients, as well as brands to look for, and to look out for. The application includes a “Four Simple Tips” section, which offers easy ways to avoid GM ingredients, a “Supermarkets and GMOs” section to help consumers identify GM and non-GMO private-label store brands, and a rbGH and rbGH-free dairy guide.
In addition to a list of brands that produce foods with no GM content, the application also offers contact information for companies that do use GM ingredients. This feature enables consumers to personally voice their opposition to the use of GM foods directly to the parties involved. As a result, the app serves not only as a shopping guide and teaching tool, but one that can be used for widespread advocacy as well. The app also has a “Take Action” section allowing people to contact state and federal agencies and officials to demand better regulatory oversight, safety testing and labeling laws for GM foods and crops.

The mobile app was created to help you find and avoid GE ingredients wherever you shop. Our guide gives you valuable information on common GE ingredients, brands to look for, and look out for, and common sense tips to keep you in the know. Stop shopping in the dark and download your new pocket shoppers’ guide today!

Get it for free on iTunes (for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) or Android Market by searching for “True Food.”
Don’t have a compatible mobile phone? In some cases, we received company policy statements from consumers who passed these on to us. In addition to written statements, we spoke to many company representatives to clarify or assess their position. Products on the RED list contain ingredients that come from the most common GE crops (corn, soy, canola, cotton). Companies with products on this list have confirmed that their products may have or are likely to be made with GE ingredients, or have not denied using GE foods when given the opportunity to do so. Companies on the GREEN list have made a concerted effort to avoid GE ingredients and have company policies asserting their position on avoiding GE foods.
As ingredients change in products all the time, the best thing is to check the ingredients list of the products you buy often. Keep a look out for:
Corn: corn oil, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, corn starch, corn meal
Soy: soy protein, soy lecithin, soy oil, soy sauce, soy isolates
Canola: canola oil
Cotton: cottonseed oil

Click below to download the NEW True Food Shopper’s Guide to avoid GE foods, updated for 2011, or get our True Food Shoppers Guide mobile application for iPhone and Android!

http://gefoodlabels.org/about/true-food-shoppers%e2%80%99-guide-to-avoiding-gmos/

Source: The Center for Food Safety

The Center for Food Safety recently filed a formal legal petition with FDA demanding that the agency require the labeling of genetically engineered foods. Now, we are spearheading a drive with over 350 other organizations and businesses in the Just Label It! Campaign, to direct one million comments to the FDA in support of our petition.

Unsuspecting consumers by the tens of millions are being allowed to purchase and consume unlabeled genetically engineered foods, despite the fact that FDA undertakes no testing of its own, instead relying only on a voluntary consultation with industry and confidential industry data to assure safety. Internal FDA documents discovered in prior CFS litigation actually indicated the foods could pose serious risks, but those views were overruled.

Genetically engineered foods are required to be labeled in the 15 European Union nations, Russia, Japan, China, Australia, New Zealand, and many other countries around the world. A recent poll released by ABC News found that 93 percent of the American public wants the federal government to require mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods. As ABC News stated, “Such near-unanimity in public opinion is rare.” Yet the United States is one of the only countries in the world that doesn’t require labeling of GE food!

In the U.S., we pride ourselves on having choices and making informed decisions. Under current FDA regulations, we don't have that choice when it comes to GE ingredients in the foods we purchase and feed our families.

Americans have been asking Congress to pass a labeling law for more than 10 years, to no avail. It’s time to take the fight back to FDA—bigger and louder than ever before.

Click here for details about how can you make your voice heard and demand the labeling of GE foods! It's your right to know what you eat!

http://gefoodlabels.org/gmo-labeling/

Source: The Center For Food Safety
http://gefoodlabels.org/

But excessive noise is only part of the story. Advancing age, genetic factors, infections, physical trauma, drug toxicity and numerous medical conditions can all be responsible for hearing loss. There is little we can do to avoid either hereditary or age related hearing loss but awareness of the potential for damage to ears and a few simple precautions can greatly improve our chances of maintaining good hearing into later life.

Always keep in mind that protection is very important when it comes to noise so observe the proper gear required by your workplace. When teenagers listen to their loud music is high volumes it is one way of damaging their hearing.

Once will usually hear noises from a lawnmower, radio or even home appliances in a normal US household. Amid the hustle and bustle of the household, one will be able to hear other noises like police sirens or even a dog barking in the distance.

When children or babies do not react to noises like voices or sounds then they may have a hearing problem. It follows most of the time that when a child is delayed in talking they might have a slight hearing deficiency.

The tones in this Dial a Hearing Screening Test have eight different ranges that will assess one's hearing abilities. In case the caller will not be able to hear the eight tones they are then advised to go get another opinion. It is best to always be in a room that is not noisy while using a telephone and not those portable ones for better reception. It is never too late to take care of one's hearing so that in the future they will not experience a lot of problems. It is always best to avoid places that have excessive noise surrounding them.

Hearing impairments can be seen once you get test to confirm it. There are many avenues to getting yourself tested either by screening programs or through a doctor. A simple hearing test can now be done at home called the Dial a Hearing Screening Test where people can check their hearing abilities via the telephone. Mind you this is not a diagnostic tool but according to the Audiology and Hearing Aid Clinic at Northern Illinois Medical Center this is a preliminary screening test.

Most times when there is delay in speech it can just be due to an ear infection. When an ear infection is not cure right away then it can cause more problems and even damage the ear. A new generation of hearing aids that takes advantage of advances in electronics and micro circuitry offers better options for those who have suffered hearing loss. Lesser noise and a lighter device is what hearing aids are made of these days. A today even cochlear implant is possible and this will help patients hear well. Remember to take precautions earlier so that you can avoid hearing checks when you are older and also to be more aware of the people around you.

The world that we live in now is affected by all the noises which people have dubbed as noise pollution. This affects about 28 million Americans which will leave some impaired of hearing. Today studies suggest that about more than one third of people reaching 75 years old will have hearing impairments that will in turn affect their communication abilities.

The Best Way To Turn Fat Into Muscle

Diet is an essential component of your bodybuilding routine. Certain foods help greatly to build muscle. An erroneous idea some people have is that if they are not trying to drop a few pounds, they need not be concerned with their diet. Your diet will be very high calorie and loaded with nutrition so that your muscles grow in the proper way.

The first thing that you should know about bodybuilding nutrition is that fatty foods are not that bad after all. Not only are they good for your diet if you are trying to lose weight, but they offer much goodness for someone who is trying to bulk up with muscle.

Yes, you've heard me right.

Focus on eating enough protein and fat - good fat , that is - and your body will thank you for doing that by turning all accumulated fat within into good solid muscles. And this is the key to turning your body into a lean mean muscle machine that not a whole lot of weight loss nuts know about.

The staples required for a good healthy diet are lean meats , fresh fruits and vegetables. The most important item that gives your body the energy you require for a hard workout is carbohydrates.
Be careful with food preparation too. Heart-healthy foods are not prepared with too many fats. Although fats do provide a lot of calories, it is also important to consider the nutrients that accompany those calories. Remember that food is simply fuel that helps to maintain your body in optimum health, so choose wisely.

Foods that are lower in nutrients will not provide you with the energy and health that you need for bodybuilding. As you work through your training, you are making your body into a well oiled, finely tuned machine and you don't want to load your machine up with bad fuel. It just will not give you the best performance.

Consider consulting with a nutritionist to create a diet that incorporates muscle building foods. Your diet should be both high in calories and nutrition. Your nutritionist will help you get the most nutritional bang for the calories. To get the results that you are aiming for means having to learn the correct ways to build muscle.

You'll wish to preserve good health and be in the finest physical condition you can. This can all be achieved via a healthy diet and the proper amount of rest and exercise. Design a diet plan before starting a workout routine. The foods that build muscles will be those that keep you going while you push your body to the limit. The Best Way To Turn Fat Into Muscle

Making the right Food Combinations

(please find the right food combination chart at the end of the article)

The body was not really designed to eat such a symphony of foods all at once, ...

(please find the right food combination chart at the end of the article)

The body was not really designed to eat such a symphony of foods all at once, even healthy ones. This is due to the fact that our digestive enzymes require a certain PH, or acidity, to function.

For example, eating olive oil and nuts in the same meal is a disaster. As fat coat the stomach lining and make it difficult for the stomach to secrete acid, this is a bad mix.

Some foods stay longer time in the stomach (such as proteins) while others like fruits get assimilated faster. Thats why they say, not to have fruits after a heavy meal. It will lead to gas, bloating and other side effects.

So being healthy is not just about eating good food, but also eating that food in the right way and at the right times.

Below is a list of points to note:

Avoid mixing protein (nuts, tofu etc.) and carbohydrate concentrated (rice, pasta, bread, legumes) foods at the same meal.

Avoid mixing proteins and fats at the same meal.

Avoid combining totally different proteins at the same meal (cheese and nuts).

Avoid mixing carbohydrates and acid fruits (tomatoes, oranges etc) at the same meal.

Melons should be eaten alone.

Many fruits and vegetables do not mix well in the same meal.

Milk does not mix with any other food (pasteurized milk is highly acid forming).

The above points are the based on scientific principals of digestion and are the knowledge of most nutritionist. They can be learned at University.

At first the above points may seem daunting, but gradually they can be incorporated into any diet. Putting the list on the fridge is a good idea.

Some examples of some well combined meals are as follows:

-Acid fruits (oranges) or sub-acid fruits (apples) and nuts (protein)
-Brown rice, vegetables and legumes (carbohydrate). Also some cold pressed oil can be added (uncooked) or avocado (a personal favorite).
-Nuts or Tofu (protein) with salad or vegetables.
-Salad, baked vegetables or steamed vegetables with fats (olive oil, avocado)

Some common examples of poorly combined foods are as follows:

-Tofu (protein) and white rice with fried oil.
-Tomatoes (acid fruit) and pasta.
-Cows milk with cereal (soy milk better).
-Pizza.
-Anything with fried oil or table salt.

Eating well combined food allows the body to digest more efficiently, thus leaving more energy and concentration for other constructive things. Eating a poorly combined meal will generally leave the person feeling full, bloated and tired and sleepy.

This material has been taken from the website: http://www.detox.net.au/Food-Combining.htm

How starvation leads to health problems

People who want to lose weight, want to lose it fast. They don't really care, how they get to their target. Five years back, I must have gone on a cab...

People who want to lose weight, want to lose it fast. They don't really care, how they get to their target. Five years back, I must have gone on a cabbage soup diet and felt proud of myself of weighing less on the scale.

Not until I was looking for something and bumped into something else and found news i can use. Will share that here in a minute.

If fat was so easy to lose, we'd all be slim in a fortnight. Unfortunately, thats not the case. Any weight that you lose without physical activity is dangerous. Let me make it in bold, so it gets through to you DANGEROUS in fact!

Your body weight is composed of essentially five major components - water weight, bone weight, muscle mass, fat mass and organs. Body by choice hangs on to fat aggressively. By fasting or missing meals, you will be trading your muscle mass, water weight, bone weight which is not a good thing at all.

Starvation are of two kinds - both are deprivations that can be dangerous.

1. Depriving your body of basic caloric requirement
2. Depriving your body of essential nutrients - vitamins

Case 2 can be dangerous. As you continue to stuff your body with zero nutrition value foods, your body is unable to function at optimum level. Foods that come under this category are bread, pasta, noodles, cakes, pastries. These are processed foods that contain refined flour, that not only takes longer to digest but remain in the stomach for hours.

Foods such as above mess with your hormones, bottomline. Don't agree?? I'lld prove it. Anytime, you eat processed foods or high GI(glycemic index) foods, there is a sharp shoot in your sugar levels in a short time. To offset this, insulin is produced by the pancreas to bring it down, infact more than what is required. So even though you just ate a big meal of junk, the extra insulin in your blood makes you to feel hungry.

This is just an example of what goes on inside the body. Now lets get to the next controversial topic called fasting. I havent done as much research as I usually do. But here is my opinion.

There are different schools of thought on fasting. Skipping a meal, a couple of times in a week is alright. But if you are going without food and water for more than a day, then it has some serious repercussions. Like for example, the strong acids produced in your body during fasting can leach out on vital vitamins and minerals from your body. The minerals play a very important role in the subtle processes of the body and you certainly don't want to lose that balance.

When the body goes into starvation mode, the body shuts down its important process, the mind-body co-ordination is lost. You will feel weak, dizzy, tired and sleepy and less energetic. Why would anyone with a sane mind do this to themselves is the question when its not even serving the purpose?

I'd like to suggest the best path for your fitness journey is to follow the middle path as Buddha taught. Going to the extremes should be avoided.

Weight loss Ideas - What sounds good, may not be!!

There is one thing that never remains static and that is your weight. It should give hope to the hopeless and suffering to those who most recently lost a few pounds.

Most of us desire that lean fat free body that is so hard to have. But like they say, if you work hard enough, do the right things, nothing is impossible. Time is all you need.

Let me ask you something, if someone asks you to follow a plan, would you? Not until you are fully convinced, right? Well, most of our decisions and choices are swayed by our reaction to popularity, people reviews, quick results, so on...

That is the kind of hype, Atkin's Diet and South Beach Diet got from people. Response was amazing and the result convincing, people lost weight and felt good about themselves. They even convinced other people to go for it and people did.

When it comes to long term implications of following such diets, the reasoning that one nutritionist mentioned are worth noting. Limiting the consumption of carbohydrate can be detrimental.

We are talking about simple and complex carbohydrates that are the continuous source of energy for our bodies during rest as well as physical activity. We store carbohydrate for the time between meals. The biggest disadvantage is that these diets are not only expensive and time consuming, discontinuing the diet at a later time will cause quick weight gain.

Another example that I think is worth mentioning here, is when you track your weight on the weighing machine. I see people doing intense cardio and sweating it out. Lets say, after one month - they weighed a few pounds less, what do you think happened? They simply shed water weight.

When it comes to losing weight, be sure you are armed with the right knowledge that is logical and based on facts. Don't just blindly follow other people.

If you want to see the right results, cut down on your calorie intake. and work on increasing your metabolic rate. Look below for the formula of calculating your Basal Metabolic rate and work your way by planning your meals accordingly.

Any weight loss program has two aspects - limiting the intake of calories and burning stored fat . One pound of fat is equal to 3500 cals. So, if you wish to see any results, you have to work around these two aspects. Make the right balance between calories consumed and calories burnt.

Time to get a calculator and a pencil to make some notes. First of, find your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) - the most essential piece of information, that is pretty much dependent on your height, weight and age.

The formula is:

For men: 66 + (6.23 x wt in pounds) + (12.7 x ht in inches) - (6.8 x age in years)

For women: 655 + (4.35 x wt in pounds) + (4.7 x ht in inches) - (4.7 x age in years)

The value X tell your body's daily calorie requirement. Next, divide those calories into the following:

45% carbohydrate,
35% protein,
20% fat.

It is also good to know your body's calorie requirement when at rest. Its called Rest Metabolic rate which has slightly different formula that you can get online.

Work your meal around your BMR to see concrete results. Give yourself eight weeks to see any result.

Also, I thought this might be helpful!!

1gm fat = 9 Cal
1gm Carb = 4 cal
1 gm protein = 4 cal

Make a little chart of the food that you most commonly eat everyday and mention the calories/qty right next to it. This way you'll keep track of your calorie intake. Nutrition data of all foods are available on the internet.

Lastly, whatever you do, please know it is important to provide your body with at least the basic caloric requirement.

Look out for my next blog...which talks about, How starvation can lead to serious health problems.

What do you know about Fat

The census of fat population is increasing slowly every day. It is an epidemic that is fast spreading among children, men and women. This is not a jok...

The census of fat population is increasing slowly every day. It is an epidemic that is fast spreading among children, men and women. This is not a joke, my friends. For years, we have been hearing the slogan - Feed the hungry. People are dying.

Now the tables have turned. The WHO predicts that over-weight and obesity will soon replace public health concerns such as under-nutrition and infectious diseases. More people are dying and suffering from diseases related to obesity.

Fat accumulation is a slow process that goes unnoticed. To understand how fat gets stored in the body, we have to look at the physiology of fat cells. Like the saying goes, the best way to solve a problem is to attack the root of it.

Biologically, our bodies go down-hill as we grow older. Scientifically, that process can be postponed and slowed down by keeping your body fit and muscular. The extra hanging fat on your body is ugly, my friends and it is your worst enemy.

The last time I checked a good source for information, they said fat cells or call them adipocytes don't multiply - they just expand due to increase in lipid content. No wonder when you lose weight, these cells just shrink in size.

Now, I know I have been taking a class on fat from the minute you started reading this blog. Tell me something though, have you asked yourself, what is fat all about? Is there anything good about fat at all?

Fat is crucial. Who ever tells you, fat is bad - has it all wrong. Fat is essential for nutrient absorption, nerve transmission, maintaining cell membrane integrity, all those important functions at cellular level. They are responsible for producing hormones, the reason why your body functions in an optimized manner.

Good fats that promote good cholesterol include mono-unsaturated and poly-unsaturated fats while bad fats include saturated and hydrogenated food categories. Is that hard to remember?? I give you a very small homework. Add five items that you know of, to the good fat list at the end of reading this blog and try to introduce at least one of them to your diet from this month on. Would that be too much of a work?

Say goodbye to cakes, pastries, hamburgers, pizzas and everything man made. Fast foods that look fancy and mouth watering - please avoid them at all costs. They are zero-nutrition items that are bad for your body , your bank balance and worst of all decreases your life-expectancy.

So what are some of the healthy choices you can make for yourself? Well, to be honest - anything that you can make from raw material is good for you. I do not recommend packaged foods that are ready to be served in a few minutes.

Kitchen is your best friend

Step into the kitchen, spend half hour each day and plan your meal. If you can associate food as fuel for body rather than pleasure or a means of socializing, you will be on the right path.

Most intelligent men do that instead of buying take-aways at restaurants. Just imagine, there is such a wide range of foods that you can experiment with, made with cleanliness and care.

Keep the recipe simple

A simple recipe is the key to optimal health. Over-cooking and adding too many spices can overload the digestion process.

There are some great raw foods that you can add to your diet like for example, soaked grains that are sprouted, nuts, salads and many more. Like I said, its all about getting creative.

Lastly,

Knowledge is power

Try to learn as much as possible through trustworthy sources where you can find monthly updated studies and surveys. Health and fitness books published previous to the current year could have outdated information.

From the day you started your journey to fitness, you have been extremely patient with your body. Hats off to people who have been regularly going to the gym or doing other outdoor physical activities - like hiking, cycling or walking.

It's possible that in your weight loss journey, there were some days when you took four steps back for every step you took forward, which means you gave in to temptations, ate a few big scoops of chocolate ice cream or pounced on that yummy cheese filled whatever. Don't worry though. It's natural - just stay strong.

By the way, did you know that you can be a fitness freak and yet be over weight?

The biggest challenge for any person is controlling your desires to have sugary items like cakes, ice creams, chocolate bars, you fill the list. You see, the reason for you to crave sugar more than other people could be a physiological reaction of the body. This is not a hard nut to crack. Why do you think some people can live without muffins and feel great.

You want to know a secret? If you are down the anxiety or depression lane - have a dessert - and watch the reaction. I have done that a few hundred times and believe me its the easiest way out with a high price to pay - fat on your belly!

Some tips to the weight watchers.

1. Regularize your diet. Don't skip lunch or dinner.
2. Stay away from cocktails and heavy drinking on liquor - wine, beer.
3. Cut the sugary food.
4. Get plenty rest.
5. Keep stress/anxiety at bay.

I know, i know...this is not new. It feels like I cut and pasted these points from another source. But hey - facts are facts no matter how you put them forth.

I hope you liked reading this blog, come back for more.

Liver Panel Tests

What is being tested?
A liver panel is a group of tests that are performed together to detect, evaluate, and monitor liver disease or damage. The liver is one of the largest organs in the body and is located in the upper right-hand part of the abdomen and behind the lower ribs. The liver metabolizes and detoxifies drugs and substances that are harmful to the body. It produces blood clotting factors, proteins, and enzymes, helps maintain hormone balances, and stores vitamins and minerals. Bile, a fluid produced by the liver, is transported through ducts directly to the small intestine to help digest fats or to the gallbladder to be stored and concentrated for later use.
A variety of diseases and infections can cause acute or chronic damage to the liver, causing inflammation, scarring, bile duct obstructions, clotting abnormalities, and liver dysfunction. Alcohol, drugs, some herbal supplements, and toxins can also pose a threat. A significant amount of liver damage may be present before symptoms such as jaundice, dark urine, light-colored stools, pruritus, nausea, fatigue, diarrhea, and unexplained weight loss or gain emerge. Early detection is essential in order to minimize damage and preserve liver function.
The liver panel measures enzymes, proteins, and substances that are produced or excreted by the liver and are affected by liver injury. Some are released by damaged liver cells and some reflect a decrease in the liver's ability to perform one or more of its functions. When performed together, these tests give the doctor a snapshot of the health of the liver, an indication of the potential severity of any liver injury, change in liver status over time, and a starting place for further diagnostic testing.
The panel usually consists of several tests that are run at the same time on a blood sample. These may include:
•	Alanine aminotransferase (ALT) – an enzyme mainly found in the liver; the best test for detecting hepatitis
•	Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) – an enzyme related to the bile ducts; often increased when they are blocked
•	Aspartate aminotransferase (AST) – an enzyme found in the liver and a few other places, particularly the heart and other muscles in the body
•	Bilirubin – two different tests of bilirubin often used together (especially if a person has jaundice): total bilirubin measures all the bilirubin in the blood; direct bilirubin measures a form that is conjugated (combined with another compound) in the liver
•	Albumin – measures the main protein made by the liver and tells whether or not the liver is making an adequate amount of this protein
•	Total Protein – measures albumin and all other proteins in blood, including antibodies made to help fight off infections
Depending on the doctor and the laboratory, other tests that may be included in a liver panel are:
•	Gamma-glutamyl transferase (GGT) – another enzyme found mainly in liver cells
•	Lactic acid dehydrogenase (LDH)
•	Prothrombin time (PT) – the liver produces proteins involved in the clotting (coagulation) of blood; the PT measures clotting function and, if abnormal, may indicate liver damage.
How is the sample collected for testing?
A blood sample is obtained by inserting a needle into a vein in the arm.

For more information visit: http://www.rxcut.com/hbg

My Plays are for Health and Wellness Awareness - Health, Family, Parents and Kids

The health awareness is the key to the solutions for dissolving conflicts, which seem to create hurdles as the hindrances such that if we cross it, we...

The health awareness is the key to the solutions for dissolving conflicts, which seem to create hurdles as the hindrances such that if we cross it, we are going to get any victory. The digestive system is as if a honeycomb when we consider that it collects the sugar in the pancreas. If we do not eat the foods, meals and others drinks and the eatables, it goes to give us troubles as the honeybees would give. The digestive system would have the biting pains and the swelling causing so many troubles in the body that with sour throat, bitter tastes, read eyes, inability to bear the light and the sound usually occurs as result of problems in the digestive system.

For the kids it is a big problem as it also disturbs the proper distribution of the nutrients to all parts of body, and we may have headaches, the sick desire to vomit. The mess in the digestive system is just the biting from the h honeybees, which want to collect the vital energy as the honey for us.

Thus without awareness about our healthy thoughts, moods and the feelings we may create more hurdles. The kids, when do not like any food, meal or eatables, to eat it seems a hurdle. This jumping and skipping as avoiding eating, what one does not like may cause many health hazards. For example, the salad in the food may seem an ordinary point; the fibers in the fruits may not have any importance, when we prefer to drink juices rather than eating the fruits in the natural form and way.

The food and eating habits count as the beginning of our biological, psychological, and the philosophical way to educate our self for health awareness. In this play, the important points include our earth and health of our future generations. The first act is a seminar, in which the topic of the health care in the context of the Philselfology, the Phil for Philosophy and the selfology is for the scientific study of the self.

In nutshell, the Philselfology is metaphysical study of the self, with the blend of ancient and modern wisdom for different faculties of the human knowledge. Thus, it is the prima factor, not only for studying about the self, but also about the mystical health care because while learning for creative thinking and the scientific feelings we follow the nature we cannot have any disease whatsoever. The food habits have a strong influence on our psychology and the way we think, feel and improve our mood management.

The pollution in the earth is not just a problem of the technological developments and the presence of the industries with so many other reasons producing pollution. As we say the charity begins at home, similarly, the health begins from our mouth. The mouth is the battlefield of the taste and all that we need to eat. If the taste wins, the digestive system may have problems. When the digestive system wins the taste does not lose, rather both win.

The need is the presence of hunger, but hunger is not a presence of need for any taste. We need meals not the tastes. Taste is a secondary need and point, which we have to consider in accordance with our dietary needs. The taste as such does not have one special relation with the tongue. The taste of our nose is the smell or the fragrance. For ears, it is music and for the eyes, it is the colors and the sight. In nature, these are present in the natural form and the play just offers good discussion to so that the kids may pay attention for a better health.

This health awareness among the kids, young ones and the others is an important contributing factor to the self, family, others and the nature learning to receive the restoring power and energy as a gift from nature as a common sense, the fruit of the wisdom tree.

One of the plays is Happy Peace Day.

Thanks for your reading it.

Note: Please let me know if you want to publish it as I would give some of my plays without getting any royalty or any profit on behalf of Life Dynamix - The Wings for All. Thanks!
