Some thoughts about happiness:

•	Happiness is a state of mind, it doesn't reside in objects.
•	Nobody can make you happy, except yourself!
•	The fountain of happiness is inside of you. Don't try to find it outside. This search is in vain.
•	The origin of stress is in your mind. Without the understanding and control of your mind, it's impossible to eliminate the stress.
•	Nobody can make you unhappy, unless you allow them to.
•	Happiness is measured by the spirit in which you face life's challenges.
•	Happiness doesn't come when you do what you like, but when you like what you do.
•	Happiness is like perfume: you can't pulverize it on others without being touched by few drops.
•	The best way to stay happy is to make sure that others are happy as well.
•	The tension and unhappiness are not objects, things or situations. They are our reactions generated by things and situations.

20 Secrets of Happiness

1. Mental concentration
A powerful mind is not easily affected by the challenges of life. Mental concentration means to learn how to live in the present moment, which is the best way to reach happiness and success in life.

2. Detachment and the ability to let go
Some people can concentrate and be absorbed completely during one activity, but it's hard for them to forget that activity when they start another one. We must remember that the only reason for various things, actions and events in our life is to give us the lessons and training necessary for our evolution. We must use them for our progress without attaching to them too much. It is said that" Although it's useful to remember sometimes, it's often wise to forget."

3. Planned thinking
Make sure that from time to time your thinking is planned and structured and not chaotic.Chaotic thinking and dreaming with open eyes it's a sign of a weak mind. It shows that instead of controlling your subconscious mind, you are controlled by it. Your conscious mind should always stay active and alert, being in control over your subconscious mind. Make sure you keep only the thoughts you want to have in that moment.

4. Positive thinking
The way we think is the most important factor in building your personality and character. Make a habit in seeing the positive aspects of things and events, even in the most unhappy situations. Negative thinking weakens the mind, makes it agitated and impure. Having a positive thinking, you will attract always favorable conditions, through the law of resonance. Staying always positive, you will create an aura of good vibrations around you which is beneficent not only for you, but for people around you as well.

5. Take it easyWe use to take things too seriously. We should rather realize that there are no permanent difficulties or problems. All will pass some time sooner or later. Everything is changing. Nothing is static or permanent, including your problems.

6. There is a reason for everything, nothing is random
The Universe has a certain order and everything is linked through the law of cause and effect. For every effect there is a cause. Everything which happens today is there because you saw some seeds there in the past. Change your attitude towards the confrontation with various problems in life. Don't look at them like a burden which comes from nowhere. Look at them as modalities for progress and growth and stay focused in success/failure, gain/loss so that you stop another karmic link to create. The events in our life are not as important as our attitude towards them.
"The world is not good, not bad. It all depends by the way we react to it."

7. Silence, solitude and introspection
Try to make time every day for a silent, peaceful time and dedicate some time just for you. Through silence you preserve your mental energy. Talk only as much as it is necessary. Avoid gossip, arguments and useless conversations. There must be a reason and a sense in everything you say. A lot of mental energy is lost in useless discussions.

8. Conquer your fears
Fears are great consumers of mental energy and they are also major blockages for our progress. According to the Law of Attraction or The Law of Resonance, we attract in our life the things and situations which we are mostly afraid of. Keep in mind that there is nothing in this world you should be afraid of . No situation is ever as frightening and painful as our imagination makes out of it.
Confront every life challenge with a positive attitude and trust in yourself and God.

9. Don't maintain inferiority complexes. What others can do, so can you!
Many people have inferiority complexes, considering that they can't do what others do. They don't trust themselves. You must understand that the ultimate potential is the same for all of us.
Don't compare yourself with others and don't feel inferior or superior to others. In fact we are all One in essence!

10. When you are provoked, don't respond immediately
Every time when you feel troubled because of some unexpected problems or some bad remarks of others, avoid reacting immediately or respond to them. Wait a little, refrain to say or do something as long as the trouble still persists in your mind. It's better to leave that place and stay alone for few minutes, silently. Calm down and try to see the problem from all perspectives. If you need to respond, be polite and respectful.

11. Don't charge your subconscious with negative thoughts
Your subconscious mind is a huge deposit for your conscious mind. Everything you see, hear, think, feel and experiment is deposited here, as permanent memory. Together with the feelings and impressions we deposit negative emotions and feelings like hatred, jealousy, anger and others. The remedy is to send to your subconscious mind only positive emotions and thoughts. This will destroy the negative thoughts and emotions. The positive is always more powerful than the negative.
Remember that the source of troubles are not our actions but our reactions.

12. Be always optimistic
It doesn't matter how many times you failed in reaching a goal. It's important to stay positive and trustful in your success. There is no force which can stop you from reaching success, if you are dedicated to a noble cause.
Remember that no effort is in vane. Even if the situation seem to be a disaster, don't give up. Keep trying. You never know how close you are to success.

13. Learn to say NO
Your courage to say NO can save you from some unpleasant situations. You have an independent personality which can stand up like a rock if truth is on your side. Some people are afraid that if they say NO to a person, they will feel offended. But if that person has a negative attitude generally, she will see everything as negative, no matter what you would say. Instead of concentrating on others, it's better to concentrate upon what you are doing, seeing if that action is good or bad from the point of view of your spiritual evolution.

Read more on my blog Open Your Heart Project:

http://openyourheartproject.blogspot.com/2011/10/20-secrets-of-happiness.html

How to avoid brands made with genetically modified organisms (GMOs).

Genetic Engineering (GE) or Genetic Modification (GM) of
food involves the laboratory process of artificially inserting
genes into the DNA of food crops or animals. The result is
called a genetically modified organism or GMO. GMOs can be
engineered with genes from bacteria, viruses, insects, animals,
or even humans. Most Americans say they would not eat GMOs
if labeled, but unlike most other industrialized countries, the
U.S. does not require labeling.

This Non-GMO Shopping Guide is designed to help reclaim
your right to know about the foods you are buying, and help
you find and avoid GMO foods and ingredients.

Tips for avoiding GM crops

TIP #1: BUY ORGANIC
Certified organic products are not allowed to contain any
GMOs. Therefore, when you purchase products labeled “100%
organic,” “organic,” or “made with organic ingredients,” all
ingredients in these products are not allowed to be produced
from GMOs. For example, products labeled as “made with
organic ingredients” only require 70% of the ingredients to
be organic, but 100% must be non-GMO.

TIP #2: LOOK FOR“NON-GMO” LABELS
Companies may voluntarily label products as “non-GMO.”
Some labels state “non-GMO” while others spell out “Made
Without Genetically Modified Ingredients.” Some products
limit their claim to only one particular “At-Risk” ingredient
such as soy lecithin, listing it as “non-GMO.”

TIP #3: AVOID AT-RISK INGREDIENTS
Avoid products made with any of the crops that are GM. Most
GM ingredients are products made from the “Big Four:” corn,
soybeans, canola, and cottonseed, used in processed foods.
Some of the most common genetically engineered Big Four
ingredients in processed foods are:

Corn
■ Corn flour, meal, oil, starch, gluten, and syrup
■ Sweeteners such as fructose, dextrose, and glucose
■ Modified food starch*

Soy
■ Soy flour, lecithin, protein, isolate, and isoflavone
■ Vegetable oil* and vegetable protein*

Canola Canola oil (also called rapeseed oil)
Cotton Cottonseed oil
*May be derived from other sources

Additionally, GM beet sugar recently entered the food
supply. Look for organic and non-GMO sweeteners, candy and
chocolate products made with 100% cane sugar, evaporated
cane juice, agave, or organic sugar, to avoid GM beet sugar.

BUY PRODUCTS LISTED in The True Food Shopping Guide ( read below for details)

Today, thousands of products on supermarket shelves are made with ingredients from genetically modified (also known as genetically engineered [GE]) crops. But GM foods are not labeled in the U.S., despite warnings from doctors and scientists that these foods may not be safe in the diet or the environment. This lack of mandatory labeling can make it difficult to determine which products are made with GM ingredients and which are not. The True Food Shoppers Guide is designed to give you the tools you need to make informed purchasing decisions.
The True Food Shoppers Guide also arms you with valuable information regarding common GM ingredients, as well as brands to look for, and to look out for. The application includes a “Four Simple Tips” section, which offers easy ways to avoid GM ingredients, a “Supermarkets and GMOs” section to help consumers identify GM and non-GMO private-label store brands, and a rbGH and rbGH-free dairy guide.
In addition to a list of brands that produce foods with no GM content, the application also offers contact information for companies that do use GM ingredients. This feature enables consumers to personally voice their opposition to the use of GM foods directly to the parties involved. As a result, the app serves not only as a shopping guide and teaching tool, but one that can be used for widespread advocacy as well. The app also has a “Take Action” section allowing people to contact state and federal agencies and officials to demand better regulatory oversight, safety testing and labeling laws for GM foods and crops.

The mobile app was created to help you find and avoid GE ingredients wherever you shop. We are over 100,000 members strong, and growing. Add your voice!
•	Connect with the CFS True Food Network on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube
The True Food Shoppers Guide was compiled because you have the right to know what’s in your food!
The Guide was compiled primarily from direct communications with food producers. In some cases, we received company policy statements from consumers who passed these on to us. In addition to written statements, we spoke to many company representatives to clarify or assess their position. Products on the RED list contain ingredients that come from the most common GE crops (corn, soy, canola, cotton). Companies with products on this list have confirmed that their products may have or are likely to be made with GE ingredients, or have not denied using GE foods when given the opportunity to do so. Companies on the GREEN list have made a concerted effort to avoid GE ingredients and have company policies asserting their position on avoiding GE foods.
As ingredients change in products all the time, the best thing is to check the ingredients list of the products you buy often. Keep a look out for:
Corn: corn oil, corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, corn starch, corn meal
Soy: soy protein, soy lecithin, soy oil, soy sauce, soy isolates
Canola: canola oil
Cotton: cottonseed oil

Click below to download the NEW True Food Shopper’s Guide to avoid GE foods, updated for 2011, or get our True Food Shoppers Guide mobile application for iPhone and Android!

http://gefoodlabels.org/about/true-food-shoppers%e2%80%99-guide-to-avoiding-gmos/

Source: The Center for Food Safety

[[[ Sadhu Sundar Singh, the story of this great man of God always inspired me. I remember having a thin book of around 70 pages saying the full life story of this great man who walked the face of this earth, specially in my homeland India. During that time when I got that book from one of my relatives I was only 11 or 12, the book was in Kannada language, I still remember reading that book again and again and again so many times and never got fed up. ]]]

http://sadhusundarsingh.homestead.com/
http://sadhusundarsingh.homestead.com/files/story.htm

His Family & Religious Background
His Encounter with Christ
His Travel Experiences
His Mission & Fate

“Jesus Christ was there in the room, shining, radiating an inexpressible joy and peace and love, looking at him with compassion and asking, "Why do you persecute me? I died for you ..." [Acts 9:1-5] At that time, Sundar realized that Jesus was not dead but alive. Sundar fell on his knees before Him and experienced an astonishing peacefulness which he had never felt before. The vision disappeared, but peace and joy lingered within him.”

His Family & Religious Background

One hundred and twelve years ago on September 1889, Sundar Singh was born to Sher Singh of Rampur, Punjab in northern India. His mother, a deeply religious woman, nurtured him in the noble traditions of the Sikhs. Sundar often spoke of his mother with much love and respect because of the good foundation she laid for his life to come. Little did anyone know what God was about to do with this keenly intelligent and disciplined young man.

He was raised in the luxury of his family's wealth. As a Sikh, Sundar was taught about Hinduism and came along with his parents to Hindu and Sikh temples. By the age of seven he had already memorized Bhagavadgita, the intricate Hindu dialogue containing spiritual life lessons. At sixteen, not only had he mastered the Vedas, the ancient sacred books of Hinduism, but he had also read Qur'an, the sacred book of Islam. He then got acquainted with some sadhus who taught him Yoga. A sadhu is a Hindu who devotes his entire life to his religion and forsakes all the worldly pleasures. Sundar remained single and jobless. He travelled all over India wearing a yellow robe without any food and without having any permanent residence. He lived only on the charity of others.

The life of Sadhu Sundar Singh was most remarkable in its Christ-likeness. Being born amidst the depths of Indian culture and religion, and into a Sikh family, during the early part of his life Sundar's mother would take him week by week to sit at the feet of a sadhu, an ascetic holy man, who lived some distance away in the rainforest. It was his mother who first encouraged him to become a sadhu. She once told him, "Do not be selfish and materialistic like your brothers, but seek for your peace of mind and hold steadily onto your faith. Be a sadhu." However, he never achieved peacefulness in his meditations. Owing to his mother's connections with some women from a British mission in Rajpur, Sundar was able to enter the school run by the missionaries. It was there that Sundar was first exposed to the Bible. He wasn't interested in the Bible at that time. Instead, he ardently buried himself in Hinduism and yogic practices.

His Encounter with Christ

But with the death of his beloved mother when he was only fourteen years old, his life had changed dramatically. The young Sundar grew increasingly despairing and aggressive. Convinced that what Jesus had taught was completely wrong, he tore the Bible apart and burned it. He even threw stones at preachers and encouraged others to do likewise. His hatred of the local missionaries and Christians culminated in the public burning of a Bible which he tore apart page by page and threw into the flames.

Still, however hard he tried, he couldn't find the peace he had been seeking for in his own religion. He reached a point in his life where committing suicide crossed his mind. Yet before long Sundar was intent on taking his own life. Sundar had arrived at a point of desperation: he had decided to throw himself under the Ludhiana express if God did not reveal to him the true way of peace.

Three days after he burned the Bible in front of his father, he woke up at three in the morning and went out into the moonlit courtyard for the ceremonial bath observed by devout Hindus and Sikhs before worship. He then returned to his room and knelt down, bowed his head to the ground and pleaded that God would reveal himself. Yet nothing happened. He was thinking of throwing himself in front of the train that would pass at 5 a.m. every morning behind their house, in the hope that he would find peacefulness in his future reincarnation.

He had not known what to expect: a voice, a vision, a trance? Still nothing happened, and it was fast approaching the time for the Ludhiana express. He repeated his prayer once again. He lifted his head and opened his eyes, and was rather surprised to see a faint cloud of light in the room. It was too early for the dawn. He opened the door and peered out to the courtyard. Darkness. Turning back into the room he saw that the light in the room was getting brighter. At first he feared that the room was on fire. But nothing happened. He then thought that it might be an answer to his prayer. While watching the light, he suddenly saw Jesus' figure in the radiance. To his sheer amazement he saw not the face of any of his traditional gods, but of Jesus the Christ.

Jesus Christ was there in the room, shining, radiating an inexpressible joy and peace and love, looking at him with compassion and asking, "Why do you persecute me? I died for you ..." [Acts 9:1-5] At that time, Sundar realized that Jesus was not dead but alive. Sundar fell on his knees before Him and experienced an astonishing peacefulness which he had never felt before. The vision disappeared, but peace and joy lingered within him.

Thereafter his life was transformed. He wanted to be baptized. Although his family tried to prevent him from his intention, he was determined. In 1905, on his birthday, he was baptized in an English church in Simla. At that time, he decided to become a sadhu, so that he could dedicate himself to the Lord Jesus. As a sadhu, he wore a yellow robe, lived on the charity of others, abandoned all possession and maintained celibacy. He was convinced that this was the best way to introduce the Gospel to his people since it was the only way which his people were accustomed to. In addition, he also wanted to be free to devote himself to the Lord.

Having become a Christian, he was renounced by his father and ostracized by his family. On October 16 1905, Sundar wearing a yellow robe, barefooted and without provisions, resumed his nomadic life from village to village, but this time he followed in Jesus' footsteps. From here on the life of Sundar Singh became most Christ-like. Being unwilling to denounce his Master in the face of his family's rejection, Sundar took the saffron robes of the sadhu and began a life of spreading the simple message of love and peace and rebirth through Jesus. He carried no money or other possessions, only a New Testament.

"I am not worthy to follow in the steps of my Lord," he said, "but like Him, I want no home, no possessions. Like Him I will belong to the road, sharing the suffering of my people, eating with those who will give me shelter, and telling all people of the love of God."

His Travel Experiences

In 1906, he went to Tibet for the first time. That country attracted him, primarily because of the great challenges it presented against evangelism. "There will be very strong opposition and persecution there. High above the tranquil snowclad Himalayan peaks, there will be a lot of time and opportunities to meet God and to read the Bible," he thought. On his way to Tibet, he met Stoker, an American missionary who also wore a yellow robe. Sometimes they spent the night together under a tree or in a mountain cave at an altitude of 5000 meters above sea level, without enough food. Happily they endured all the hardship for the sake of spreading the Gospel. When Sundar became ill, Stoker got them a place to stay in a house belonging to a European. Inspired by Sundar's faithfulness towards God and sincere love towards other people, the host repented his sins and gave his life to serving the Lord.

Following the advice of his friends, Sadhu enrolled himself in St.John School of Theology in Lahore. After studying for two years there, he resumed his travel. An eyewitness reported his experience with Sundar, "I encountered Sundar Singh as he was walking down a mountain trail to proclaim the Gospel to us. He then sat on top of a tree, wiped the sweat off his face and sang a hymn about the love of Jesus to us. The audience was not impressed by the song. One man came forward from the audience, pulled Sundar down from the tree and knocked him to the ground. Silently, Sundar got to his feet and began praying for these hostile people. He then told us about the love of Jesus who had died to redeem all sinners. Because of that I repented and so did the attacker." That was not the only time when Sundar won souls for the Lord by adhering to Jesus' instruction which says, "Do not take revenge on someone who wrongs you. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, let him slap your left cheek too." (Matthew 5:39).

One day in Nepal, Sundar was ambushed by four robbers in the middle of a jungle. One of them brandished a sword. Meekly, Sundar bowed his head thinking that his life was about to end. This attitude surprised the perpetrators. Since he was penniless, they took his blanket away from him and let him go. But then, one of the robbers called him back and curiously asked his name. Sundar introduced himself, opened his Bible and started telling him the story of the rich man and Lazarus the poor. The robber said that the end of the rich man's life was unpleasant and asked what would happen to himself. Sundar then told him about the Gospel and God's forgiveness. The robber took Sundar home with him and repented.

In 1912 Sundar decided to imitate Jesus' seclusion and fasting for 40 days even though his friends advised him against it. He failed to fast for 40 days because he became weak. However the experience strengthened his spirit. He could thus overcome all doubts, anger and impatience.

In the following years, he was often persecuted but he was also miraculously delivered by the Lord. In 1914, Sundar preached in Nepal, a country with a very strong root of Buddhism. In the town of Rasa, he was sentenced to death by a local Lama on the grounds of spreading a foreign religion. He was thrown into a dry well the top of which was then covered and locked from the outside. He was without food and drink, naked inside the well together with corpses of executed murderers. He stayed in the horrible well for 2 days until a stranger came and helped him out of the well. After relocking the well, the stranger left without saying anything. Not long after that, Sundar was recaptured and taken to the Lama. The Lama was very surprised since he had always kept the only key to the well with him. Realizing that Sundar was under the protection of a very powerful God, they became fearful of him and begged him to leave them.

In 1918, Sundar visited Madras where thousands of people gathered to listen to him preach. There Sundar focussed his preaching on Jesus Christ the redeemer. He testified, "Jesus' presence always brought astonishing peace to me no matter how bad the situations I was in. Whenever I was in a prison, he was always there for me. He transformed the jail into a heaven and the burdens became blessings. There are many Christians who do not feel His glorious presence as something real. Because for them Jesus only occurs in their minds and not in their hearts. Only when someone surrenders his heart to Jesus can he find Him."

Sundar often used parables in his preachings. He once said, "One day after a long journey, I rested in front of a house. Suddenly a sparrow came towards me blown helplessly by a strong wind. From another direction, an eagle dived to catch the panicky sparrow. Threatened from different directions, the sparrow flew into my lap. By choice, it would not normally do that. However, the little bird was seeking for a refuge from a great danger. Likewise, the violent winds of suffering and trouble blow us into the Lord's protective hands."

Sadhu Sundar Singh journeyed much. He travelled all over India and Ceylon. Between 1918-1919, he visited Malaysia, Japan and China. Between 1920-1922 he went to Western Europe, Australia and Israel. He preached in many cities; Jerusalem, Lima, Berlin and Amsterdam among others. Sundar remained modest despite his fame. His attitude made his father repent. Sundar never thought of himself. He only desired to follow Jesus' example: to repay evil with kindness and to win over his enemies by love. This attitude often caused his enemies to feel ashamed of themselves. Once, he was preaching in a public market when a fanatic from a different religion suddenly punched his right cheek. Calmly, Sundar turned his left cheek towards the assailant. The attacker left. But that night Sundar received a message from the attacker asking for forgiveness. On another occasion, Sundar told some harvesters about the parable of the weeds. They became annoyed and cursed him. One of them threw a stone at Sundar's head. At that instant, the stone thrower was struck by such a painful headache that he had to lie down on the ground. Without hesitations, Sundar took over that man's chore and helped them harvest the crops. They soon became friendly to him and invited him home. Their hearts were then open to the Gospel. The next day after Sundar left, they noticed that their harvest became more abundant.

His Mission & Fate

Being unwilling to denounce his Master in the face of his family's rejection, Sundar took the saffron robes of the sadhu and began a life of spreading the simple message of love and peace and rebirth through Jesus. He carried no money or other possessions, only a New Testament.

"I am not worthy to follow in the steps of my Lord," he said, "but like Him, I want no home, no possessions. Like Him I will belong to the road, sharing the suffering of my people, eating with those who will give me shelter, and telling all people of the love of God."

He travelled India and Tibet, as well as the rest of the world, with the message that the modern interpretation of Jesus was sadly watered down. Sundar visited Tibet every summer. In 1929, he visited that country again and was never seen since. Sundar manifested into his life the verse written in Mark 8:35 which says, "For whoever wants to save his own life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for Me and for the Gospel will save it."

I try to make sense of things and fail to comprehend
the magnitude, width and depth of all that is mine.

Still with all of that clearly in front of me, I find myself whining
still, because I don't have this or that.

It wouldn't take much to see those around me lacking
even the stuff that I enjoy and I am nowhere near a
wealthy man by the world's standards. I have a simple
house, a car, food, a wife and family who love me.

I couldn't boast of a yacht, six figure income, tailored suits,
shoes made in Italy, or more bathrooms than bedrooms in my home.

Some of you may think that's not much.

Still others may read that and say, I rent a small apartment
with one bedroom that sleeps six. I can't afford to buy my
child a toy boat to play with and my income is below the
poverty line. As for clothes and shoes I thank God for the
Salvation Army and my church.

That's hard to understand, but easy enough to see.

I wake up in the morning and I can't feel my feet sometimes.
I walk slumped over from muscle pain until I walk long
enough not to feel it.

Some of you may say it's just old age, get used to it.

Others may be thinking that's nothing. I can't walk any more.
My legs don't function at all and I am confined to a wheel chair.
My pain is constant because I can't afford the drugs to make it
all go away. I am crippled and can hardly sit up long enough
to eat.

That's hard to understand, but easy enough to see.

I moan about the fact that I don't see my one son at all
and the other just calls any more. He's too busy to stop by.

Some of you say they have their own life, let them live it.
Be grateful, mine is in his 30's and still living here.

Others might say at least you have two sons. I lost my son
to war and my daughter to cancer. Didn't your oldest survive
his cancer? You ought to be grateful he's alive.

That's hard to understand, but easy enough to see.

I sometimes question God.

Some might say so do I.

Others might add, me, too.

Still He loves all of us, doesn't he? He never gives up on us,
does He? He sees more in us than we do, gives even when
we don't deserve it. He provides. He guides. He lifts us up
when no one else is there to do so. He forgives. He listens.

You can't deny the abundance in your life.
That's God...hard to understand sometimes, but easy
enough to see.

"I wish you enough!"
J
Bob

I encourage you to share my stories but
I do ask that you keep my name and contact
information with my work.

If you would like to receive Bob's Inspirational
stories, please visit http://www.IWishYouEnough.com
and submit your email address.

Links You'll Like...

If this was shared with you by
a friend, you can sign up to receive these
messages or to learn more...
Visit my website to read more of my stories:
http://bobperks.com

My personal Mission:
"To touch the world one person at a time"
I can only do that with your help...here's how:
Please make a donation!
http://bobperks.com/donations.htm

Great resources for your life:

http://www.brothersoftheword.com/
Iinspiration for a day, faith for a lifetime!
Starting out, starting over...starting now!

Yoga shows some benefit for Diabetes

Gentle yoga classes may help people with type 2 diabetes take off a small amount of weight and steady their blood sugar control, a small study suggest...

Gentle yoga classes may help people with type 2 diabetes take off a small amount of weight and steady their blood sugar control, a small study suggests.

The study, of 123 middle-aged and older adults, found that those who added yoga classes to standard diabetes care shed a handful of pounds over three months. Meanwhile, their average blood sugar levels held steady -- in contrast to the non-yoga-practicing "control" group, whose blood sugar levels rose.

The findings, reported in the journal Diabetes Care, do not suggest that yoga should replace other forms of exercise for people with type 2 diabetes -- a disease commonly associated with obesity.

To really lose weight and rein in blood sugar, more-vigorous exercise would work better, according to Shreelaxmi V. Hegde of the Srinivas Institute of Medical Science and Research Center in Mangalore, India.

"In our study the effect of yoga on BMI (body mass index) and blood sugar control was marginal," Hegde, the lead researcher on the work, told Reuters Health in an email.

"But," she added, "it should be noted that yoga controlled the blood sugar levels which otherwise rose in the control group."
In addition to that, the study found, signs of so-called oxidative stress declined in the yoga group.

Oxidative stress refers to a situation where levels of reactive oxygen species or "free radicals" -- damaging byproducts of energy use in cells -- rise beyond the body's capacity to neutralize them. Long-term oxidative stress is believed to contribute to a host of chronic diseases.

In this study, Hegde's team measured participants' blood levels of certain chemicals that reflect oxidative stress. They found that, on average, the yoga group's levels of the chemicals dipped by 20 percent.

The significance of that is not clear. Hegde said that if such a decline in oxidative stress were sustained over time, it might lower the chances of diabetes complications, which include heart and kidney disease, nerve damage and damage to the blood vessels of the eyes.

Further, long-term studies are needed to see whether that is the case, the researchers say.

According to Hegde, yoga may curb oxidative stress because it stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system -- the part of the nervous system that basically acts as a brake against the gas pedal of the sympathetic nervous system.

There are caveats. The yoga used in this study was a gentle form, Hegde said, and parts of the practice were adapted for people who had additional health problems; certain poses were avoided in people who had heart disease, for example.
In the real world, yoga classes vary widely. Some are vigorous work-outs involving complicated poses that would not be appropriate for older adults with chronic health conditions.

Older adults with diabetes can look for yoga classes designed specifically for older people and those with chronic medical conditions. In the U.S., hospitals and local community centers are increasingly offering such classes.

more about Diabetes
ref: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44373893/ns/health/t/yoga-shows-some-benefit-diabetes/

How to Add Link, Photo, File or Video to Your Blog Post at Wings for All

The written words bring inner beauty out as its unseen otherwise. Similarly, the blog posts need some touch of say painting that is as if adding photo...

The written words bring inner beauty out as its unseen otherwise. Similarly, the blog posts need some touch of say painting that is as if adding photos, a wonderful idea of allowing readers to download files, view videos and of course links to which we redirect to other websites or within the website, the Wings for All in this case. We discuss it as follows:

1. Adding Photo: We click on the icons above the blog post (saying *Post).

Its icon if clicked shows the message: Enter the URL of your image

It asks that the photo needs to be added from place where it has been uploaded. Now, let us find the URL. I click on my photos. It shows all uploaded photos, I can right click on the mouse that says: Copy Image Location or alternatively we can click on the photo that we want to use. Select any photo and its URL will be on the top in the browser.

Let us select it as this link: http://wingsforall.com/bhagouauty/photo/view/youth/ (Please note directly using this link will simply place the photo below the blog post not inside the post)and insert into Enter the URL of your image (So, please note we are suing the Image Link and I have added the URL: http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8)

Main Link, the Image Link or Link Location: Please note that we simply copy the Image Location that appears like this: http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8. Then, we paste into the Photo Link. In the Photo Link, we simply replace http:// with http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8. It gives the image as below:

<img src="http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8" ALT="Child Friend"" alt="" />

If we add the some words about the photo, say the caption, we need to enter the URL as: IMG SRC="http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8" ALT="Child Friend"

If we further we want to change the dimensions, we may better upload the photo with desired size. It helps.

If we at the above we add the URL that is Link Location of photo. It will appears below the blog post. For example, we find the photo from our photo gallery or upload it to the photo gallery. The URL for it appears as:

(This link is broken at <img src=" with space.

How we find this link is simple, we copy the image location (its in the list when we right click on the photo or image). We do not copy the link location as otherwise the photo may appear below the post.

So, if we want to show the picture within the article. We insert the format simply as:

http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8

[img]http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8" ALT="Child Friend"" alt="" />

< img src="http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8" ALT="Child Friend">< /img> but when we use only Photo Link showing only http:// and blank space replaced by http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8 ALT="Child Friend" (It works better in the Forums)

Please note that simply adding the Image Link seems enough as the Photo Caption with ALT may not work. So, it, suffices as jpg link: http://wingsforall.com/file/pic/gallery/5916.jpg?t=4e58b938b7ab8

So, we can insert easily insert photos in our blog posts.

2. Add Files: Now, the point is that we also want to make sure that all can download the article, we simply add a file from our computer as when we click on Attach Files. I have added photo as a file and we can add any file with extensions and thus the Valid file extensions: gif, jpeg, jpg, png, zip. Please note simply convert word file into zip-file and upload. Thus, we have option any photo even from the file link as some formats meet the requirement of maximum uploading limit which at the Wings for All is: 512000 Kb. If your upload does not work, try uploading a smaller item.

3. Adding Video: At Wings for All, we can upload any video that is not more than 75MB. It is an important Note: You must only upload videos in which you own all the rights. If you upload any videos in which you do not own all the rights, you may be violating copyright law.. Click on Add Video and select video from your computer. Please note that it can take several minutes.

4.
Our whole existence is covered with colours: the wonderful colours from nature, the colours of the objects in our home, the colours of our clothes, the colours of walls from the rooms, the colours of buildings, the colours of cars and different vehicles we are travelling by, the colours of books, magazines, papers, the colours from movie scenes and those seen on the TV, the coloured lights from the feast fireworks, the colours of Christmas decorations and gifts, or the colours of flowers we offer to our beloved ones for their anniversaries.

All these represent as many moments we interfere with colours and get in contact with their effects. This is why it is useful to know which are the effects of each colour over the human being.

Warm colours – cold colours

From the bright red of a ripe apple, to the deep blue of the clear sky, a large number of nuances suggest the closeness and distance, the intensity and relaxation.

Warm: Red

Utmost warm, red is stimulating, it stirs the flame of passion, makes us feel stronger and filled with force. When predominant in a room, it gives the feeling of condensation and stimulation and makes the room look smaller.

Cold: Blue

Sort of complementary to red, at the cold extreme, blue is profoundly relaxing and calming, it awakens the desire for introversion and enhances love inside of us. When blue is predominant in a room, it confers the feeling of spaciousness, through which we subjectively perceive that the room as bigger.

Warm: Orange and yellow

Orange and yellow are also warm, but more temperate in their stimulating effect. Orange is by excellence an anti-depressive colour and triggers the good spirits; as for yellow, it stimulates the rational thinking and it is an excellent mental stimulant.

Cold: Turquoise and violet

Along with blue, also cooling are turquoise and violet. Turquoise is soothing, purifying and refreshing, while violet awakens hope, reactivates the sense of valour and makes us aware of the spiritual dimension of life.

The healing power of colours

Each colour has its own healing power over the human being. Whether we choose to borrow the beneficial effect of a certain colour by wearing cloths in that colour, or we choose to live in a room painted a certain colour, or we may choose a coloured light in the room by means of a coloured bulb, we shall always feel at the same time the healing effect of colours.

Red

Red is a powerful activator and is an excellent remedial for states like lack of power, states of weakness and also useful in cases of low blood pressure.

Orange

Orange provides a motivating enthusiasm, awakens the interior joy and has a powerful effect of invigoration over the psyche. It is also a very powerful aphrodisiac remedy.

Yellow

Yellow is a very powerful stimulant of intelligence. It has a healing power in case of rheumatism, arthritis and also helps to strengthen the bones structure.

Green

Green is the colour of harmony, equilibrium and neutrality. Green has a powerful healing power in many cases of disease, from head aches to cancer.

Turquoise

Turquoise is the colour of immunity. It has a healing power in different inflammatory diseases or feverish, in cases of nervous tensions or mental agitation.

Blue

Blue makes possible the apparition of a deep regenerating state of relaxation in the whole being. It has a healing effect in cases of high blood pressure, asthma, migraines and it’s an excellent anti-stress remedy.

Violet

Violet mainly has a profound regenerating effect at a spiritual level. It helps healing of neurosis, mental disorders and epilepsy.

Read the article on my blog "Open Your Heart Project"

http://openyourheartproject.blogspot.com/

A Simple Exercise for Living in the Present Moment

Have you ever found yourself caught in the past or the future instead of living in the present moment?
Have you ever thought that this is taking us away from living fully in the moment of now, which, is in fact, the only REAL moment in time, because the past is gone and the future is not here yet?

Here is a simple exercise for transcending the time and space and helping us re-connect with the PRESENT MOMENT:

1.Ask yourself:”where am I?”
Answer yourself: “HERE”.
Ask yourself then: “In what moment am I?”
Answer yourself: “NOW”.

Repeat these questions until you become profoundly permeated by the truth of these two eternal coordinates within in which you exists, existed and you will exist for ever: “HERE” and “NOW”

2.Program a clock to ring many times during the day when you are in the middle of the various actions. Then, ask yourself the questions:
a) ”where am I?” and replay: “HERE”
b) “In what moment am I?” and answer “NOW”.
Each time when we realize this we must feel the direct and character of the “HERE “and
“NOW”. Acting in this way, we’ll begin to realize that anywhere we go and in any chronological moment we found ourselves, we are FOREVER HERE AND NOW. Therefore, we’ll understand that we have never been anywhere else but HERE and NOW. The clock will continue to tick in the monotone flow of the time, the Earth will continue to rotate around the Sun. With detachment, we let all the aspects of life to pass continuously caught in the torrential whirlpool of the sequential time. We always permanently remain conscious that we exist HERE and NOW.
This represents a simple spiritual exercise, but incredibly effective, which is meant to move us deeper in the eternal present, there where truly EVERYTHING exists.

3. Try as often as possible to focus your thoughts exclusively in the present for longer and longer periods, each time when you will remember this spiritual exercise.

DO NOT THINK OF THE FUTURE.
SIMPLY, BE HERE, NOW.
DO NOT THINK OF THE PAST.
SIMPLY, BE HERE AND NOW.

4. Reflect to the idea that:

a) If you really are HERE and NOW, this is truly ENOUGH to have EVERYTHING, and

b) Thus you will reach the power and capacity of discriminatory understanding to make the most harmonious thing right now. Therefore when “after that”(the future) will become NOW – if you truly assimilated this exercise – you will then be in the ideal state and you will be then (in the future) much more capable to make the most appropriate and the most harmonious actions, so that it will not be necessary to waste your time NOW to worry yourself about then (future).

5. Reflect over the fact that you can program wisely your future being a state the consciousness of HERE and NOW, because in this kind of state, “ then” becomes NOW.
Doing like this you will be fully HERE and NOW. Do these statements still appear paradoxical to you? It is normal in the beginning, but nevertheless continue to meditate upon them, because the OUNCE OF PRACTICE will reveal to you that they hide truths which could never be fully comprehended by the rational mind.

6. “think that you are not yet begotten, that you are in the womb, that you are young, that you are old, that you have died, that you are in the world beyond the grave; grasp in your thought all this at once, all times and places, all substances and magnitudes together.”
(HERMETICA)

Read the article on my blog "Open Your Heart Project"
http://openyourheartproject.blogspot.com/

I honor the Divinity within you!
What is Love? Message from Archangel Raguel

Preparing my radio show about love, I asked Archangel Raguel - the Archangel of Divine Justice and Harmony- to tell me what is love and this is His message received on May 24th, 2011.
I hope this message will inspire you as much as it inspired me!

“Love is the most beautiful of all human feelings. It comes directly from God. The beings who love are gifted by God with wonderful qualities of the soul. Even those who don’t know how to love yet, are able to learn how to love, because they were born with the same potential qualities as all other beings on Planet Earth.

A soul, who loves, instantaneously arises into God’s Kingdom and ennobles everything around.

The hunger for love is something which is characteristic to the people nowadays. All their desires which they seek to fulfill in the external world come from their lack of love. This can be fulfilled through the simple act of loving at least one human being, a flower, a plant, a pet or a scenery from nature. The more human beings you love, the more ideas, aspirations, plants, and animals you love, the closer you are to God the Father. To love only one human being during your lifetime is a grace, but to love more human beings is Divine, is a grace bestowed upon those who ASK for it. Don’t put a limit to your love. Be free to love as much as possible, let love flow through you, open your heart to love and many miracles will appear for each of you in this Divine state.

Love is an endless stream which flows through and in your heart, it’s inside and outside your being and it does not belong to you. Then why should you limit it to only one human being? While there are so many other beings looking for love even without knowing what they are looking for? When you will love with a pure and detached love as many human beings as possible, this planet will become the Planet of Love, chosen by God to flourish the Divine Love in it. What can be more beautiful than living on a planet of love? These times are close, but it waits for you to take the first step towards the Divine Love.

Ask and you shall be given. Knock and it will be open to you. All the treasures from the Kingdom of God and from Heavens will bestow upon those who love with a Divine Love, which is beyond limitations and expectations. It’s pure like the purest water of a mountain lake and it doesn’t ask for anything in return. It doesn’t expect anything. It doesn’t look for anything else than the happiness of the being it bestows upon. Imagine a river which flows and overcomes all the stones in its way. In the same way the Divine Love overcomes all the obstacles put in its way, which are: egotism, selfishness, the desire to receive instead of giving, jealousy and expectations of all kinds.

Let the river of love flow through your bodies and they will be healed from all illnesses. The healing power of love is unlimited. Love can heal the person you are in love with even from a chronic disease which they might have had for years. Send to your beloved this love directly from your heart, every day, at the same time. Close your eyes and let this love bestow upon them and you will see miracles happening in their life. But never think that you healed them. Love and only love which comes from God heals everything, forgives everything, purifies everything.

Love is also light, the inner Light you see sometimes it’s the love of God for you. Let yourself be caressed by it, bathed in this love-light and your body will never know illness and death. You will become immortal and you will melt in Light for eternity. In fact, the state of enlightenment is to melt in the Divine Light. Then you will reach perfection.

Pray to God the Father to love with His love for people, not with your love for them. Your love is limited now. You see a beautiful being and say: I want to be with her for the rest of my life! But you fall in love with her appearance not with her soul. When you will fall in love with her soul, only then you love with a Divine Love. A person is beautiful for the one who loves her, but if you look carefully around you, ALL human beings are beautiful in their own, unique way.

Love the Divine Essence within each human being and you will see your soul being enriched with the light from their soul and in this way you will become light. When you talk to someone, look into their eyes and you will see the light from their soul will filling the space between the two of you. The eyes are the mirror of the soul. Look people in the eyes, don’t avoid their eyes, and don’t avoid their soul. Every being you meet in your life, was sent to deliver a message for you and you will have to find that message.

How can we love with a Divine Love?

Open your heart immediately and it will lead your steps in the direction you need to follow to evolve spiritually. Give up hatred, jealousy and envy and in this way, purifying your heart, you will discover the most precious treasure from your heart: the Divine Love."

I honor the Divinity within you!
Techniques for Forgiveness Part 1

Many times I asked myself this question: "Why is it so important to forgive those who hurt us and even to forgive ourselves?" The answer is because holding resentments towards a person, hurts not only the other person, but mostly ourselves and can lead to pain, sufferance and illness, due to the resonance with inferior energies. But many times forgiveness is a beautiful idea, until we have to put it in practice in our own life. In this article I will try to put together some ideas and techniques for forgiveness which proved to be successful.

Many times memories from the past seem to emerge from our deepest levels of the subconscious mind and although our present life situations have nothing to do with the past and are completely harmless, we judge them and the people we interact with, based on our memories.

Let's see what is the structure of the mind and how these memories emerge from our subconscious mind?
Our mind has 3 basic levels: the sub conscious mind, which is the deepest level, the conscious mind which is active during our daily activities, or it should be active if we would be completely awakened and the super conscious mind, which is beyond the former two, more like a witness which lives completely present in the moment of now. Above all and ultimately the source of all is the Divine Intelligence.

According to the Ho'oponopono teachings, the ancient Hawaiian system of healing, problem solving and transformation, brought to the world by Morrnah Simeona, who was the original founder of the Self I-Dentity through Ho'oponopono courses, continued by Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len from Hawaii,
"The subconscious mind experiences mimicking, echoing, replaying. It behaves, feels, sees and decides exactly as memories dictates. The conscious mind, too, operates, without its awareness, by memories replaying. The subconscious mind and conscious mind, comprising the Soul, do not generate their own ideas, thoughts, feelings and actions. The Soul does not generate experiences of its own. It sees as memories see. It feels as memories feel. It behaves as memories behave and decides as memories decide. Or, rarely, it sees, it feels, it behaves and decides as Inspiration sees, feels, behaves and decides.
It is crucial in problem solving to realize that the body and the world are not the problems in and of themselves, but the consequences, the effects of memories replaying in the subconscious mind!

Who's in charge?

The Void is the foundation of Self I-Dentity, of Mind, of the Cosmos. It is the precursor state to the infusion of Inspirations from Divine Intelligence into the Subconscious Mind.

Memories replaying displace the Void of Self I-Dentity, precluding the manifestation of Inspirations.
To remedy this displacement, to reestablish Self I-Dentity, memories need to be transformed to Void through transmutation by Divine Intelligence.

Ho'oponopono involves the full participation of the four members of Self I-Dentity: Divine Intelligence, Super Conscious Mind, Conscious Mind and Sub Conscious Mind - working together as a unit of one. The Super Conscious Mind is memory-free , unaffected by memories re-playing by the Sub Conscious Mind. It is always one with the Divine Intelligence. The only requirement for Inspiration, Divine Creativity, is for Self I-Dentity to be Self I-Dentity. To be Self I-Dentity requires incessant cleansing of memories.

So who's in charge? Inspiration or memories re-playing? The choice is in the hands of the Conscious Mind."

The basis of this system is the following prayer:
"I am sorry.
Please, forgive me.
Thank you.
And, I love you!"

Here forgiveness plays an important role in the process of healing and transformation.
“The repentance is feeling sorry for the data or memory in me that is the problem. The next step is forgiveness from the Divinity; to forgive whatever this data is that causes me to perceive a patient to be sick. The final step is called “transmutation” which only the Divinity can do. The Divinity will take whatever memories are in me, that I perceive the patient as being sick, convert it to zero; transmute it from a thought-form to pure energy; release the energy from my mind, and now I’m back at zero which means no judgment. The next step is insight. The insight moves in and the Divinity tells you what you can do next"

I would add here that practicing awareness, being conscious all the time, being connected to the Super Conscious Mind, attunes us with the flow of Divine Inspiration. And here, living completely and fully in the present moment is the fundamental key.

Eckhart Tolle speaks about living in the present moment in his book "The Power of Now" and he gives many keys for awakening and becoming conscious of who we really are: Divine beings.
He says that "Forgiveness means to stop being discontent and in this way, we renounce sufferance.
Forgiveness means to stop opposing or resisting our life's events - means to allow life to live through us. The alternatives are pain and sufferance, the diminishing of the vital energy and in many cases, physical illness.
When you truly forgive, you withdraw your power from the domination of mind. Your mind cannot forgive. Only you can. Become present in your own body, feel the peace and the vibrant silence overflowed by the Being. That's why Jesus said:
"Before you enter the temple, forgive!"

In her book about the metaphysical causes of illnesses, "Your Body is Telling You: Love Yourself", Lise Bourbeau says that:
"The only path to complete and permanent healing is through self-forgiveness and the forgiveness of others."

She also gives the steps of forgiveness:

"1. Identify your emotions.
2. Take responsibility
Simply means acknowledging that you are choosing to react out of fear. Accept that something inside you is attracting this person or situation in your life to help you get over the hurt that has been present since childhood.

3. Accept the other person and let go
Put yourself in their shoes and begin to see things from their perspective and better understand their intentions.

4. Forgive yourself
This is the most important step in forgiveness. It helps you make peace with yourself. Forgive yourself for having judged, criticized or accused the other person

5. Have the desire to express forgiveness
Imagine yourself face to face with the person concerned, telling them that because you were hurting, you have judged, criticized or condemned them.
6. See the person involved
Express your thoughts and feelings to that person, saying you regret your accusation, judgement or resentment

7. Make the connection to the past
Look back at the events of your life and find a similar circumstance that relates to an authority figure: a father, mother, grandparent, teacher. This person is usually of the same sex as the person you were accusing. Then, to liberate yourself, go over this 6 steps with the person from the past.

Take as much time as you need to go over these steps. It may take a day, a month, a year, but what is important is that you do this with sincerity.
Letting go through forgiveness doesn't mean that you agree with the offense. Rather, you see beyond the offense. You are able to look into the other person with the eyes of love, compassion and understanding."

Read more about other techniques for forgiveness in the next article.

I honor the divinity within you!
Here are 2 techniques for forgiveness which I practiced and I still practice in my daily life and they proved to be very efficient.

Every time I have to deal with health problems, for example, I know that my body wants to send me the message that I had a wrong attitude towards people, situations or events in my life. I become more and more conscious that everything happens for a reason and I attract the people and situations which I deserve and make me grow, helping me to learn my lessons in this lifetime.

Recently I embrace every person and situation in my life as being a gift from God and although some of them might seem to be difficult at the first glance, I understand that there is a hidden message they want to tell me and a hidden lesson they help me to learn. In this way, I accept everything as an opportunity to learn, grow and evolve spiritually and I am grateful for everything which happens in my life.

Then I immediately undergo a process of introspection or reflexion, in which I review my attitudes and I recognize and accept full responsibly for my mistakes. Applying the techniques for forgiveness I harmonize my relationships with other people and also make changes within myself.

I also realized over the years that although sometimes I have the feeling that I overcame some obstacles and I removed some mind patterns, if they were not completely accepted and transformed into something better, they tend to come back and create the same problems over and over again. That's why, I applied these techniques for forgiveness for longer periods of time, until I attained a state of detachment towards the people or situations involved in this process.

The first step I take is making a list with all the people and situations in which I felt hurt or mistreated and then another list with the people I hurt or mistreated myself. Then I apply this technique for forgiveness with every person from my lists, sending the healing energy of forgiveness to those persons and myself. I also wrote messages to all the people in my lists asking for forgiveness or telling them that I sincerely forgave them. Some of the people answered to my messages, some not, but either way, I know that I did the best I could in order to restore the balance and harmony in my past or present relationships.
When I feel a state of detachment and acceptance of a person or situation in my life, that is the sign that the process of forgiveness was successful. It feels like a burden is taken away from my shoulders and I become very light, happy and free.

What I think is very important also, is to assume full responsibility for all my actions or reactions to the events and situations. Being responsible means to stop blaming others for what's going on in my life. It means to look with lucidity and sincerity inside my own being and see what can I make to improve myself. We are the creators of our life in every moment. When we become fully responsible for everything we think, feel or say and for all our actions, we no longer blame others for anything.
Responsibility is a sign of maturity and is the first step in the journey towards self-awareness, together with sincerity. From this moment on we can say that we become more and more conscious and present and we will see that our entire life will change in better every day, regaining its harmony and even healing at all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

These techniques for forgiveness were given by my spiritual mentor and teacher, Yoga Professor Gregorian Bivolaru, and you can find them in his exceptional book: "The Secret Tantric Path of Love to Happiness and Fulfillment in a Couple Relationship" which can be found on Amazon.com:

Technique for forgiveness #1:
"To forgive, you must attract in your inner universe, through invocation, the subtle energy of forgiveness. This can be done through sincere, humble, and loving imploring for help from God the Father. After you have consecrated the fruits of this action to God, ask Him to pour into your being the divine energy of forgiveness.

Standing up, facing towards East, say the following prayer:

"God Almighty, Heavenly Father, I beg you with all my humility to pour into my being your divine energy of forgiveness. I implore you to help me forgive totally and unconditionally all that has caused me grief, intentionally or not. Thank you for listening to my prayer and for helping me. Amen."

Say this simple prayer at least seven times, and every time, in the end, feel in your being how the divine energy of forgiveness flows, through the top of the head downwards, flooding your entire being. When you feel that this flow of energy stops, start the second repetition of the prayer and continue in the same way with each repetition.

At the end of these prayers think clearly of the person you wish to forgive and the actions or situations for which you forgive them. Then feel how the divine energy of forgiveness operates in an ineffable way. At the end feel a state of relief and purification which shows that the energy of forgiveness has accomplished the annihilation of suffering with success.

In the end, you will have the opportunity to validate the efficiency of forgiveness through the appearance in your being of a state of complete detachment towards the aspects, situations, actions that have caused you to suffer as well as the person who provoked them."

Technique for forgiveness #2:

As before, start by saying the above prayer at least 7 times. After you have charged your being with the divine energy of forgiveness, go on to the next stage.

Think about the person who hurted you or who made you suffer. Putting yourself in their position, aim to think with lucidity and detachment about what you would have done if you had been in their place, under the exact same circumstances. Ask yourself honestly and with maximum lucidity and detachment, how would you have reacted?

Immediately after that, examine the person who created that suffering or pain, outside the context in which she/he has offended us, imagining that person in a completely different context or setting. For example, imagine how the person you are trying to forgive looked in childhood, or even better, remember, as exactly as possible, a specific situation when the two of you got along really well. At the end of this visualisation exercise, remain with the eyes closed, in a state of recollection, and then aspire to open your heart fully, invoking the help of God the Father and asking Him to fill your heart and being with the subtle energy of His infinite compassion. At the end of this action, the state of complete detachment should appear.
When forgiveness is taken to completion with the help of the divine subtle energy attracted in our being from the Macrocosm, it represents a twofold grace: for the person who is forgiving, this is a liberating feeling that also eliminates sadness, suffering, tension, and anxiety that often flow uninterrupted in the absence of forgiveness.

The state of detachment that is settling in shortly after the forgiveness is completed, shows that you have succeeded to forgive completely. If the state of detachment is not settling in, redo the process until you are successful.

When we don't forgive the person who has hurt us, the state of suffering and pain remains continuously in our inner universe. Judgment contracts the soul and exposes it to endless suffering, but forgiveness frees immediately form these wounds and pains, and by calming it, forgiveness enables the soul to blossom."

The energy of forgiveness can be attracted continuously in our being through invocation and sincere aspiration. We only have to take one step towards it and we will see even miracles happening in our life: miraculous healings, a divine state of happiness and love without limits, the disappearance of prejudices and mental patterns and a state of purity of the mind and soul which takes us to the next step in our evolution. When we have pure thoughts, our life will be pure as well. Aim to always attract the divine energy of forgiveness in yourself and you will become a radiant source of love and purity!

I honor the divinity within you!
