- Ensure riparian areas in the arid southwest are eligible for the Wetlands Reserve Program, protecting Southwestern Willow Flycatchers and other animals that rely on these special ecosystems.
- Provide ranchers and farmers with funding for proactive predator deterrence methods, such as range riders and fencing, to prevent livestock-predator conflicts.
