I made the change to become Vegan for health and ethical reasons.Life is precious and shouldn't be taken for granted - ours or anyone else's.
I'm 38 years old.I was born in California raised in Spain for 8 years.I was raised on a seafood diet as a child. I then became allergic to shellfish in 1993 and I went off to being lacto-vegetarian with an occasional falling off the wagon. I eat 75% raw! I find the flavor of raw dishes amazing especially when prepared with savory raw sauces.I'm now VEGAN and I feel great!
I'm married to a wonderful man who is lacto-vegetarian but I do all the cooking which is vegan.We have a healthy 3yr old son. I LOVE being a mom.
Both Hubby and I work in Silicon Valley and feel so lucky to be in California where we have an abundance of fresh vegetables and fruits, and not to mention alternatives to dairy/meat products.
